Dodo Juice
Dodo Juice is opgericht in 2007 door PJ en Dom, twee ondernemende types die het idee hadden opgevat om de autoverzorgingsindustrie eens flink wakker te schudden, een dubbele espresso te serveren en op hun bed te springen.
Moe van de prehistorische marketing trucs en de massaproducten van de autopoetsmiddelenindustrie, is Dodo Juice opgericht met één doel voor ogen – het creëren van hoogwaardige autoverzorgingsproducten voor de enthousiasteling, voor realistische prijzen en zonder pompeuze claims. Dodo Juice gaat de strijd aan met merken zoals Swissvax en Zymöl die waxen voor een veelvoud aanbieden!
Dodo Juice is begonnen met het op de markt brengen van slechts vijf handgemaakte waxes. In 2008 is de range uitgegroeid tot negentien producten, allen gemaakt in Groot Brittannië door een klein team van toegewijde specialisten. De waxes zijn enthousiast ontvangen door de detailing community, en worden gebruikt door professionals en liefhebbers. Dodo Juice’s nieuwste wax, Supernatural (verpakt in een met de hand gemaakte, speciaal vervaardigde luchtdichte container van duurzaam hardhout), was binnen 25 minuten uitverkocht. De Supernatural kan zich gemakkelijk meten met de duurste topwaxen zoals de Swissvax Divine (€ 1.900,-) en de Zymöl Royale (€ 4.800,-)!
Al met al is Dodo Juice een bedrijf dat ánders is dan anderen en daar trots op is. Trots dat z’n logo lastig te lezen is, trots op z’n kenmerkende website (dodojuice.com) en trots op z’n vriendelijkheid, toegankelijkheid en leerzaamheid. Ooit zal het misschien zelfs z’n ambitie in vervulling zien gaan – het kopen van een vulkanisch eiland, compleet met monorail en laser. Dan zal de concurrentie alleen nog maar meer reden tot zorgen hebben…
